Stoops Freightliner is Hiring a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Near Fremont, IN
Summary:
Additional income available. (Safety Bonus, Online Training Modules, Top Tech Competition)
Essential Functions:
· Repair and Maintain customer equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments and machine tools
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear, repair engine/driveline/ABS related issues utilizing sound mechanical knowledge and computer based diagnostic programs
· Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearings, electrical system, and air system
Minimum Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a technician
· Ability to display knowledge of diesel and gas engines
· Ability to display knowledge of repair procedures
